The German born Army brat traveled throughout the United States with his military family until settling in southern California as a preteen. TJ embraced his talent at an early age of 19, becoming a Hair Stylist then graduating to a Celebrity Hair Stylist and
Male Groomer by 1995 _ 22.
Shortly thereafter, TJ attended the Sunset-Gower Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood Ca. After which in 1998, he proudly became a Certified TV/Commercial & Film,
Makeup Artist by 25.
"Betterment" is what drove this young talent to become one of the Industry's best artists.
In 1999 he'd continued working in Hollywood, as a Credited Hair and Makeup Artist in film, television, commercial, print, and video production. But,TJ followed his heart by moving to New York, where he successfully became a Makeup Artist with
MAC Cosmetics/Manhattan in 2000.
Los Angeles' allure drew TJ back to southern California, where he returned focused and confident in his ability to make a name for himself in Hollywood. A few years after his return, in 2005 TJ was hired as Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist by Access Hollywood/NBC, and quickly became an I.A.T.S.E. Union Local-706/ Network TV-Makeup Artist in 2006.
Today, Mr. Romeland continues to work throughout the Biz, perfecting his abilities while staying current in "What's Hot" in makeup and hair. He's currently freelancing with KTLA - 5 / The CW since 2008 and he continues to work with longtime client,
ABC - 7 since 2001.
The future of this young talent is undeniable. He's incredibly passionate in all aspects of his life and work, and has an abundance of artistic energy to burn....
